The Software Extension to the PMBOK® Guide is now open for public review by PMI. The Exposure Draft of this standard will be open on 10 December 2012 and available until 10 January 2013. I have read most of it so far and it has some interesting content specially the Project/Product Life Cycle.
Soon I will be posting some more details.
